- Age gap (15 years, older MMC; while MMC and FMC are vaguely aware of each other’s existence when she’s still a minor, they have no meaningful relationship of any kind before she enters her 20s) This is very much the main conflict of the book, because the characters themselves, especially the MMC, often feel uncomfortable with the age difference. It’s a frequent topic of conversation and hard to gloss over in the text. Please take that into consideration when deciding whether to read, your wellbeing is the most important thing ❤️
